2025 Social Justice & Charity Year in Review

The 2025 Social Justice & Charity Year in Review celebrates the many ways the St. Edward’s Parish community put faith into action through generosity, service, and compassion. Created as part of the parish’s Advent and Christmas stewardship communications, the video reflects on the impact of parishioners’ contributions throughout the year and invites the community to continue supporting these important ministries.

Led by Kevin Driscoll, Director of Pastoral Care and Social Justice, the video highlights a range of charitable initiatives, including the Cornerstone Giving Tree, the Bishop Dudley Emergency Fund, the Fr. Mike Tegeder Fund, and ongoing parish ministries serving individuals and families locally and globally. Through specific examples and stories of those helped, the video illustrates how donations, volunteer service, and acts of kindness provide practical assistance, dignity, and hope to people experiencing hardship.

The video also features a sit-down interview with Dr. Darlene Fry, founder and executive director of the Irreducible Grace Foundation, who shares her appreciation for the parish’s support through a grant from the Fr. Mike Tegeder Fund. This personal perspective connects the parish’s charitable giving to the organizations and people making a difference in the wider community.

Combining a year-in-review presentation with personal storytelling and a call to continued generosity, the video serves as both an impact report and an invitation to action. It encourages parishioners to support the mission through financial contributions, volunteer involvement, and participation in the annual Giving Tree, reinforcing the message that every gift is an opportunity to live out the Gospel in tangible ways.
